this entry is especially for the sec ones. its up here because you guys cant settle this problem properly. sectwos and threes, please help settle this current problem..
sec ones:
this is only your first year in the band and already you're having internal disputes?! i know this might not involve every one of you, but the group or person who's guilty, i should think you know who you are. does being angry with your fellow band members give you the right to call someone a bitch and a fucktard openly on your blog? hello, think before you speak please! how'd you like it if the same names were thrown at you on someone else's blog? the seniors, admittedly, have had a similar dispute before, and let me tell you, its not going to be nice when things turn ugly. when feelings get hurt, the morale of that particular band member goes down, and with one member down, the whole band gets affected. its a cycle effect. and then who's fault is it?? it'll all just point back to you. its ridiculous if you guys are fighting and hating your fellow members during this first year, when you have so many years ahead of you. think about it..if this dispute goes on and on, what will things be like for the band and for yourselves in time to come?!
now listen. i may not have heard the whole story, but from what i've read on various blogs, things are going to turn bad if you, the sec ones, dont sort things out amongst yourselves. if you're irritated or angry with a certain someone, tell her nicely and explain why. i mean, dont take matters into your own hands and go straight out blabbing to others. this is how bad rumours all start. and like for goodness sake, even if you are sooo terribly angry and fed up, is there a need to call her a fucktard?! what goes around comes around, and i guess only til you've experienced it yourselves, you wont know what a horrid feeling that is.
ammend things while you still can. apologize, make up, be friends. that'll make the band such a better place. im darn sure the other seniors dont wanna come back hearing about the billion of ihateher and shehateme tales of yours. settle things with a trash talk if you have to, and at least speak like civilised peeps please. there'll always be seniors around to help you guys sort out things; find them and ask for help.
one more thing. in band, your seniors = people older than you. that means whether you like it or not, and whether you can stand them or not, they deserve your respect. if you hate them like shit outside band, you jolly well put away that hatred during band time and give them some respect. and no matter how friendly you might be with the seniors outside band time, when it comes to band, get things straight: it aint a friendfriend thing then. hence in other words, outside band = friend/enemy. during band = seniors. always remember this please.
work hard sec ones. dont ruin your friendships just like that. and especially, dont ruin the relationships between band peeps.
